HTC One X: Accu connected wrong, which parts will die

Good Evening,

yesterday I repaired a HTC One X after whater damage. After cleaning som contacts it suddenly cabe back to live. I checked all the hardware and almost everything worked normal. Only the virbration motor and the on/off switch did not work. But the device went always on, when connected to usb. I opened it up again for cleaning. I think I connected the battery in a wrong way. I think I shifted the plug one pin to the left. Now it does not work. I am not shure, if it does not start again due to the broken on/off-Switch (i changed the usb default not to aks anymore) or if it is due to the wrong placement of the battery.

Does anyone know which parts will die when the battery plug is shifted?

PS: The on/off-switch problem is not in the switch assembly - i changed that.
